The Trojans, who lost three games by five points or less last season, hope to improve on 2-8 record.
CLAYTON — After making drastic improvements on offense last year, Troy hopes it can get better on defense this season. The Trojans have been working on that goal over the last week in preseason camp, which finished on Thursday.
The Trojans went 2-8 last season in head coach Matt Burgbacher’s first year at the helm. Although the team’s record improved by one win compared to 2014, it had drastic improvement on offense. Troy averaged 338 yards per game and led the GWOC North in passing yards per game. Quarterback Hayden Kotwica, who returns for his senior season, set a school record last year with 2,021 passing yards. [Read more…]
