A cold front moved through the area Wednesday night into Thursday( November 03 and 04, 2016) providing scattered rain showers, This front ended the unusually warm temperatures for early November and was followed by much cooler temperatures for the first weekend of the month along with fair to partly cloudy skies and dry conditions because of a strong high pressure area.
For Friday night, November 04, 2016, the area high school football contests will see for kickoffs under mostly clear skies, dry conditions, light winds, and temperatures in the upper 40’s to the lower 50’s.
Springfield is the only Clark County team that made the playoffs. The Wildcats travel to Pickerington Central for a 7:30 p.m. game on Friday.
On Saturday, November 5, 2016 the Ohio State Buckeyes host the Nebraska Cornhuskers for an 8:00 p.m. kickoff. The weather conditions at Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Ohio should be clear skies, calm winds, and a game time temperature in the upper 50s.
The Wittenberg Tigers host the Kenyon Lords for a 1:00 p.m. kickoff. The weather conditions here in Springfield, Ohio should see
partly cloudy skies, a dry field, and a game time temperature in the low to the middle 60s.
Do not forget the time change this weekend from eastern daylight to eastern standard. This will make sunrise and sunset a hour earlier.
