Kenton Ridge pitcher Carly Turner makes first team all-state in Division II.
Four Clark County players were named to the Ohio High School Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association all-star teams. Kenton Ridge pitcher Carly Turner made first team in Division II, while Shawnee’s Lauren Linn made second team. In Division III, Northwestern pitcher Jenna Robbins and Northeastern pitcher Kaitlyn Moore were named second team.
Turner, a sophomore, had a 1.58 ERA and 166 strikeouts in 182 inning pitched this season. She also had a .400 batting average and 29 RBIs. Linn had a .481 batting average and had 33 RBIs and seven home runs for the Braves.
Robbins, a sophomore, had a 1.32 ERA and 229 strikeouts in 164 and 1/3 innings. She also had a .441 average and 34 RBIs.
