Shawnee and Tecumseh have combined won at least a share of the last five Kenton Trail Division titles.
SPRINGFIELD — Shawnee and Tecumseh have established their dominance of the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail in the last five seasons. Either the Braves or the Arrows have won at least a share of the title the last five seasons, with each school winning the title outright twice in that time.
The title could be decided tonight when Shawnee (6-0, 1-0 Kenton Trail) travels to Spitzer Stadium to take on Tecumseh (3-3, 1-0).
“If they get up on us early, I’m going to turn the lights out,” Tecumseh head coach Kent Massie said jokingly on the Clark County Coaches Show last Tuesday. “I heard that worked for (Shawnee head coach) Rick Meeks last week.
